Amazing Test Prep

My daughter used this book to prepare for the AP World History Exam last year and said that out of all of the test prep books she used, this is the one that helped her the most. She said that literally 75% of the AP test had questions that were almost exactly the same as the one in this book. She scored a 5 on her exam and will be using the 5 steps to a 5 500 question books for every AP exam she takes in the future!

Out of date

A large bank of questions to draw from. However, the style of questions are out of date in relation to the AP exam first, there are only four possible answers on the test, this book has the old format of five. Also, the questions often lack context of time period and region and rely more on knowledge based questions. The time periods also do not align to the new set up of the AP course. Last, the book still has questions that give a list of characteristics and then asks which ones satisfy the question (in roman numerals). The college board no longer uses these types of questions. Hopefully, they will update the book once they realize the course requirements have changed.

The formatting for the questions in this book use the old AP World style for MRQ questions with 5 answers. The test revision that went into effect in 2011 changed the format of the MRQ questions to a four answer model.
