About the Author
Seth B. Young, Ph.D., is an associate professor of aviation and interim director of the Center for Aviation Studies at The Ohio State University. He is the coauthor of Planning and Design of Airports, Fifth Edition.
Alexander T. Wells, Ed.D., is a consultant and adjunct professor in the College of Business at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is the author of a number of leading aviation industry texts, including Commercial Aviation Safety, Second Edition and previous editions of Airport Planning and Management.

Awesome book - great information.

I bought this book because I love aviation in general and thought it would be cool to learn more about the technical details of airports - I absolutely loved the section on the airside/airfield with plenty of schematic diagrams of runways, taxiways, and airfield lighting, etc.

Great book for my college class

Great book for my college class. Very informational and good knowledge for the future. I find the aviation industry very fascinating and this book was very interesting. It covers just about everything you will have to think about as a manager of an airport. My class was taught by the airport manager of a major airport and he recommended this book.
