Japan Made Stupid

Pros: This book has the generic useful information like a list of holidays, hotline numbers, useful phrases, and info on how to use the railway system.
Cons: The author resorts to stereotypes and generalizations to describe Japan and Japanese people. He actually writes, and I quote, "It is common knowledge that Western men find Oriental women unusually attractive, and that in any ranking of overall femininity, character, and personality, Japanese women are invariably in the top three. Japanese women are also attracted to Western men." There are so many things WRONG with that.
If you want information on how to travel in Japan, ANY book would be better than this one.
