Gary Grossman is the founder and CEO of Venn Strategy Group, which helps companies measure and manage strategy. He is an international consultant and trainer with expertise in using business intelligence and technology to build an integrated performance management culture. His clients have included several well known companies including Coca-Cola, Epson, and Avery Dennison.

A Valuable Read for Managers of all Levels

The book cover of "Becoming a Successful Manager" states that the book is "perfect for first-time managers." I agree. As an experienced manager, I found the information contained in this book to be right in line with the training and advice that I have provided to employees and associates over the years. In addition to being an important resource for first-time managers, this book can be a guide to even the most seasoned manager and can help break them of ingrained, negative habits and policies that are disruptive to their respective departments. Presenting this book to new managers and experienced managers who may need a refresher course will help cultivate positive leadership throughout any business.
