read along with Nison's The Candlestick Course

I needed to go to the next level trading using these tools. Both books gave additional insights. I have read and referred to these authors initial books many times, and these went into more detail and showed practical applications. Memorizing the material in them will not make one a successful trader. That only comes with commitment both to winning and saying these are the tools I choose to use. Certainly there are other tools available and I use some of them, such as stochastics, Bollinger Bands, and MACD. It's a good book.

This review may be biased. I love to use candlesticks in my trading. This book really shows you how to look for the psychology that comes with each day of trading and is exposed by candlesticks and their patterns.

Ouitstanding Workbook

If you study this workbook you will want to acquire its companion book because of how well Morris writes. I really liked the summary and self-test questions at the end of each chapter. In the main companion book I found the pattern statistics helpful in selecting which patterns I wanted to focus on. Morris' research into the reliability of pattern recognition and candle pattern performance is superb.
